Coloured photographic postcard. Image shows a pink middle eastern building with minarets and domes bearing crescent moon emblem. The entrance to the main part of the building is a large arched gateway with metal railings. Two smaller buildings with three arches are on either side of the main gateway, The building rests on a stone wall/foundations and a green field is in front of the complex. In the top left corner is the caption “MALTA – Lurhs Cemetery”. The card is addressed to Mrs Pittam Castlethorpe Nr Stony Stratford England. The message reads “12/8/17 Dear Friend Hope this card will find you and family in the best of health as it leaves me the same hoping to be back in Blighty soon I remain your (?) friend (G. A?)” The card is franked by the Army Post Office 13 AU 17″
