The word FOWEY is written in red at the bottom left of the border. The card is addressed to Mrs Pittam, Castlethorpe Nr Stony Stratford, Bucks. The message reads “Dear Annie Just another PC I shant be there next week after all as the woman cant come till the next week after but I shall be there sometime. sorry to hear Ted had been poorly & glad the babe is better. If you haven’t don’t trouble about the dressmakers as I think we are going to some dressmaking classes when I come back I then do it myself. I wrote to wrote to George last Monday but haven’t heard yet it was next Sunday he thought of coming we are going to meet him at Ursie.”
