Field Service Postcard sent to May from Albert dated June 1916

Field Service Post Card addressed to Miss M French, 60 Young Street, Wolverton, Bucks post marked 13 Jun 16 sent to May French by her brother Albert. The reverse of the Post Card states that Nothing is to be written on the Post Card except date and signature of sender or the card will be destroyed. There are already several pre-printed sentences, options not required can be erased. The Post Card states that Albert is quite well and is going on well, that he received May’s letter and a letter follows at the first opportunity. It is signed and dated 12th June 1916, 3 days before he was killed in action.
