Object No.8
Congregational Church Cycling Club Bugle, c 1900
The Congregational Church used to be at the southern end of the Square (where Foundation House is now). Members of their Cycling Club took the bugle with them on rides so that when people wandered off, say, to look for wildflowers in the woods, they could be summoned by the bugle and it meant nobody got left behind.
