The “Dragon Mountain” earth sculpture was built by Community Artist Jessica Rost assisted by Heather Talbot and students from Radcliffe School. It was funded by Milton Keynes Community Foundation. The Dragon became a victim of its own success quite early on! It received such heavy and enthusiastic wear that it required some extra reinforcements and modifications. Roy Culley, a local builder, added a non-slip surface to the stepping stones and a flight of curved steps. This enabled the dragon to receive a more extensive paint job including metallic effects and sparkle. This was carried out by Jacqui Rice and Denise Ilett.
