Miniature vase and jug, c 1890s

Object No.75
Object No.75

The vase (made by the Coronet Works) and the jug (made by Swan China) were popular collectables. Goss is the most popular manufacturer of these small white glazed models that carry the coat of arms of the place where they were sold as a souvenir. The vase has the Buckinghamshire crest of the chained swan, and the jug contains a coat of arms that claims to be the ‘Wolverton Arms’.
