Betty West (née Kightley) was a member of the Lily of the Valley patrol in the 1st Wolverton Girl Guides’ Company. This log book was created by several patrol leaders including Betty and Marjorie Lloyd of Aylesbury Street .

The log book recorded guiding meetings and events and includes a record of a trip to Westminster Abbey in 1947 for the Service to unveil a stone in memory of the founder of Scouting and Guiding, Lord Baden Powell.
