The Tower of St Mary Magdalen
The Tower of St Mary Magdalen, former parish church of east Stony Stratford. A 15th century stone building, the church was a casualty of the great fire of 1742. The tower was saved from demolition by the intervention of Browne Willis. The graveyard was extended over the building area after the fire and was in use until around 1865.
