This film shows the theatre district and construction work at the theatre.
It begins with views of construction men working outside in the theatre district. We see shots of the buildings in various stages of completion and workmen working, mainly laying paving slabs.
00:05:00 the film cuts to the Hogshead where people are sat outside and shows that building and the TFI Friday. It cuts to a statue wrapped up in black polythene between these buildings. A man in blue shorts is looking at it and is directed by the cameraman. The film then cuts back to the Hogshead and zooms in on people sat outside. The camera moves on to the Lloyds No. 1 cafe bar and then Bella Pasta, again focusing on the people sat outside. The film cuts to the front of the theatre and then De:Alto Mediterranean Restaurant. We next see a domed structure which is on Lower Twelfth Street. The film cuts to a view inside a restaurant and then of a man unloading beer barrels from a Stella Artois lorry.
00:15:15 the film cuts and when it resumes we see the incomplete auditorium in the theatre. The film shows various views of the auditorium and behind and above the stage area. The seats are all still wrapped in plastic and men are working.
00:22:15 the film cuts to workmen in the main entrance foyer [?] of the theatre working on different tasks.
00:26:30 We cut back to the auditorium and see more shots of the auditorium and stage areas in various stages of completion with workmen working on them.
