Waterhall Park
“This leaflet describes one of the many park areas in Milton Keynes. Because of the extensive landscaping running through new housing areas man new parts of the City are set within a ‘parkland’ scene. Small open spaces are to be found throughout housing areas, often containing a variety of children’s play spaces, local sportsgrounds and allotments. In some areas these are called ‘local parks’ and contain more formal planting, footpath systems and play parks.”-Your Parks
This leaflet contains information on local parks, bigger parks, sports and leisure facilities and leisure routes.
Inside the leaflet there is information on Waterhall Park. It gives information on the history of the land and how the park originated. It describes how Waterhall Park has been used by local schools to contribute towards their study of nature, the park’s history within the Grand Union Canal and planting.
