Welcome to Planet Fishermead by those who live there - Documentary Film

A film commemorating the 50th anniversary of the creation of Fishermead in Milton Keynes and the lives of some of the people who live there. The idea for the film arose from thinking about the welcome Zerena had received from the community of Fishermead in 1988, and how since then, the estate had welcomed many new residents and become home to some of the most diverse communities in the city of Milton Keynes.

The film was developed in collaboration with Fishermead Citizen’s Alliance who were organisers for Fishermead 50th Birthday. The film was premiered as part of Fishermead estate’s 50th Birthday at the Islamic Centre Milton Keynes, Fishermead Boulevard  and is now available to watch online.
