Honorary Treasurer & Vice Chair (Archives), Archive Records Organisation: David Bruce: Formerly with British Transport Police and Project Co-ordinator with national DIY firm; holds an MBA focused on organisational effectiveness; LAMK volunteer since 2009 and Board member since 2015; currently trawling the Main Archive for duplicates and mislabelled files.
Vice Chair (Artistic), Fine Art & Business: Victoria Holton: ran businesses in designer neckties for international stores, and in antiques and interior design, appearing as a BBC expert; has works in the Permanent Collection of the V&A Museum; is now researching artefact provenance; enjoys painting, singing in jazz ensembles, dress-making, silversmithing and filming.
Diversity Involvement: Martin Ferns: Former OU manager and editor of curriculum projects in Africa and SE Asia; Chair of Global Education MK 2003-2014; currently Chair of LAMK Board Subcommittee; Webeditor of MK Natural History Society; member of NPIG and MK Palestine Solidarity Group; enjoys singing, playing music and trekking.
Legal Matters: Helaine Griffin: Former senior solicitor with multi-national law firm Dentons, advising on property matters; Board member of Whitecap Leisure (Willen Lake, MK Parks Trust) and formerly of Independent Cinema MK; Volunteer for the Arts Society; Church Recorder.
Music and Media Creation: Tom Hill: Runs an award-winning music production company with two old Stantonbury Campus schoolfriends; their clients for films, news, documentaries and drama include the BBC, Sky, C4, C5, Beyoncé; enjoys cycling around MK Redways, going on holiday, and ‘the power of telling stories’.
Online Media: Sas Amoah: Digital Media Producer at The Open University; primary AV lead for the OpenLearn team and manager of its YouTube channel; team leader for the MK Winter Night Shelter in Coffee Hall; Chair of the BME network at the OU; Trustee for MK Gallery; skilled in film, editing, writing and comedy; arts and design professional.
Property & Commerce: Lincoln Bedeau: MK resident for 47 years; formerly MD of AskMK TV, MK College Governor, and UCMK Entrepreneur-in-Residence; award winner of the Racial Equality Council’s Championing Change and of Sparc Technology Network; currently Property Consultant; enjoys travel with his wife and time with his grandsons.
Schools: Elizabeth Bancroft: Headteacher (retired) of Loughton Manor First School; National College for School Leadership appointed Local Leader of Education with mentoring and standard-raising roles, specialising in Early Years; conducts children’s choirs and ensembles; performs with brass and vocals in local bands.
Company Secretary and General Manager: Melanie Jeavons: LAMK General Manager since 2008; formerly worked in post 16 education and LAMK project co-ordinator; has a keen interest in MK’s history and heritage.
