I think The Laurels may have been used by the local doctor at one time but by the early 1970s – before 1975 – there was a childcare facility at The Laurels. I think this may have been run by MKDC for MKDC and OU staff members’ children.
Very pleased to see that after many years of this building deteriorating there are now plans to bring it back into use as housing.
