Photocopy of an article titled ‘Opening of the Railway in Sections’. A report detailing the first journey undertaken on the London to Birmingham railroad. This involved a group of directors, the engineer and the architect, departing from Euston Square station and traveling to Boxmoor, a distance of twenty five miles. Also includes a brief article lauding the London and Birmingham Railway for their improvement in arrangements for receiving passengers.
