Photocopy of an extract with transcript, of an account of a series of demolition attacks on agricultural machinery undertaken by groups of agricultural labourers, on farms in the local area. Describes the efforts of ‘gentlemen, farmers, and others, resolved to oppose them’. Following skirmishes eighteen ringleaders were captured and many others were apprehended, bringing the total to fifty arrests in one night.
