Signal man Joseph Dimmock in Signal box
Signalman Joseph Dimmock in Bletchley Signal Box No2 c1904. Joseph Dimmock was a signalman when they were called Police Constables. His truncheon was still in the hands of his granddaughter in 1980. He was father of Councillor Harry Dimmock, member of Bletchley UDC 1914-1953. It is possible that the photograph was taken in the 1890s.
