1939 Crash at Bletchley Station: Class 5. No 5025 piloting 7.50 pm from Euston to Stranraer on 13th October 1939 – train engine 6130 Royal Scot class named “Liverpool” 5025 was released into traffic August 1934. B.R. No 45025 came in February 1950. Withdrawn August 1968.

He was promoted to Station Master Euston. The last Station Master to live in the Station Master’s House opposite the station’s entrance.
