World War One 1914-15 Star medal awarded to ‘61048. PTE. A.L. LLOYD, R.A.M.C.’ (stamped on the reverse). The ribbon has red white and blue watered stripes. The bronze medal is a four pointed star ensigned with a crown. The obverse consists of two crossed swords with blades upwards behind an oak leaf wreath with the royal cipher of King George V at the foot and an overlying central scroll with the text ‘1914-15’ in the centre.
