John Goodman was my uncle When my grandfather Edward Goodman died he left money to the boys my grandmother Resevoir along with her sons carried on the buiseness as it was then My father Edward After Edward Edward (Ted)Goodman bought some land from a Mr Wyley setting up his yard opposite The New Inn Bradwell Road. Before buying this property my mother father lived 13 East View New Bradwell buying a lorry traveling around picking up scrap metal after a time was able to get a loan from Lloyd Bank giving him the means to buy land opening up the scrap yard E Goodman brothers a few mentions are incorrect in another archive Goodman Scrap Yard i think only the serviving children can relate the correct history we are fearlessly loyal to each other
