These can be the raw material for the artistic talents of a community to focus on. The lives of local people and the events which shaped their environment can find expression in celebratory art forms, such as songs, music, plays, exhibitions, dance, videos, CD-ROMs, websites and books, that can be a shared experience for all. This process of transformation and celebration we call Documentary Arts.
