Peace Pagoda, Milton Keynes

Reference No. 17 “The Peace Pagoda at Willen is the first to be built in the western hemisphere. It was constructed by the monks of the Nipponzan Myohoji in Milton Keynes, as a place of peace and tranquillity. Milton Keynes is the city in Buckinghamshire where jobs, houses, shops and schools are being developed for the 200,000 people who will live here in the 1990s.”
