Week 29: A GLANCE FROM A TRAIN
For this week’s Wolverton On Film Brad Bradstock and Eric Thompson create a lockdown version of their show A Glance From A Train.
Funny and poignant, A Glance from a Train is a very different kind of show. It tells the true story of a community faced with traumatic upheaval including two World Wars. And just when they think that the battle has been won, the world turns on its head and nobody wants their hard-won skills any more!
It’s a story that mirrors similar struggles in any number of villages all over the country. But this isn’t any village – this is Wolverton, now itself part of Milton Keynes, an even bigger new town.
