Arts and Crafts exhibition in Central Milton Keynes
Images of items shown at an art exhibition. It is believed that Brian Milne was the artist. The following description was given of the exhibition: “Brian Milne’s work was inspired by Britain’s coastline.
He used found materials such as driftwood, burnt wood, pebbles and sea-worn rope, combined with photographs, maps, paper, rusty steel and shiny copper.
The pieces communicate the struggle to make order out of chaos, illustrating man’s efforts to come to terms with his own intervention with nature, and also the order imposed by modern thinking, urban grid systems and geometry.”
The location of the exhibition is thought to have been the CBX Building in Central Milton Keynes.
