Card with a prayer on it: ‘A Prayer for the family’. It is printed in blue and has a Maltese cross above the title. On the reverse of the card is the logo of Christian Family Year 1962-1963 and a statement beginning: ‘I will try to understand afresh the full meaning of my membership’. The reference RP/1/62 is in the bottom right-hand corner. Found in metal tin TBC/06/022

I have another copy of this card found in my mother’s memorabilia. She lived in Bilton, Rugby (Warwickshire) and the winter of 1962-3 is when I was born in the house she spent the rest of her years. ( b 1929, d 2017)
I’d like to know more about the card and the ‘Year’. My mother was a faithful member of the Mother’s Union so I wonder if it is connected to that.
