Slides of Bletchley Leisure Centre
A collection of colour slides of Bletchley Leisure Centre. Including internal shots of the swimming pool, activities and signage and external shots of the pyramid and covered walkway. The leisure centre opened in the 1970s replacing the outdoor Queens pool and was itself replaced in 2009. It had a multi-storey car park with a raised covered walkway that went between the carpark and the entrance way. The Swimming pool was housed inside a large glass pyramid. Attempts were made to have this structure listed before it was demolished.
