Kurshida Mirza BEM - Interfaith champion and charity founder

Kurshida was born in India and came to the UK as a child. Her background in community work focussed on different social issues within communities. She founded Trubys Garden Tea Room, an interfaith café, in 2014. She founded the Great Get Together Iftaar MK in 2017; it brings people from all faiths and the wider community to join Muslims to break the fast during Ramadan. She is also Chair of MK Community Foundation.
