Air Mail letter written on 29 Dec 1943 from Mother – This morning have received air mail letter – it is hard to get the Xmas spirit in these days. We had one of our Turkeys which was very nice and a nice plum pudding with some of the almonds in, and mincepies, chocolates, turkish delight, apples and oranges. So as far as food went we were very well off –
