Steve Wehrle, Assistant Commercial Director

Born in Bridgend, Steve attended Bridgend Grammar, and then the Polytechnic of Wales for a degree level course in what was called Urban Estate Management (basically Chartered Surveying). This gave him a degree plus exemption from the RICS exams. He became a Chartered Surveyor after two further years employment. He started work in local government, first in Telford Development Corporation; he then moved to Swindon for four years, followed by four years in Newport Borough Council doing Industrial Development, before coming back to his favourite area, retail operation, in Milton Keynes.
After four years at MK Steve moved on to work with a major consultancy practice, then moved onto the client side. He was a Director of John Laing Property , Kier and Land Securities then at the age of 60 set up his own consultancy company.
