Black and White Postcard shows Stony Stratford High Street in 1882. Along the right hand side there are approximately 8 shops in the foreground, and several more beyond a large tree. One of the shops is called Walford. There is a man, a woman and a child walking towards the shop. They are just in front of a horse drawn carriage. Several other people are walking along the right hand pavement and there are 2 other horse drawn carriages, one in front of the tree and one in the foreground on the left hand side of the road. There is a man, a woman and a couple standing on the pavement near to an inn with the sign of a cockerel.
