Indeed he did and we lived in the house, the last occupants of the house I can only just remember that weekend and there was another film made there Decline and fall that was like a circus with all the vehicles and actors we got some of the food.
My grandfather Herbert Henry William Daniells (Bert) B. 1900 D. 1976. and who lived on Chruch Road – Worked the signal box and crossing gates at Bow Brickhill Station. I believe he was in the TV show, “The Saint” when Simon Templar came ove the crossing and Bert had to open the gates for him to cross as part of the show.
