All Change 'Hal-An-Tow' music and lyrics (Interval).
As recorded in ‘The Newport Hundreds’ it was customary, towards the end of the nineteenth century, for bands of children to collect greenery on May Day and proceed from house to house in Wolverton singing songs’. Hal-An-Tow (folk song) is a traditional May Day processional song.
