Female born in Pakistan 1982
She was born in Lahore, Pakistan in 1982. She moved to Milton Keynes with her family in 2018 at the suggestion of a friend and for the sports activities, especially cricket. In 2020 they moved to Buckingham for the children’s schooling.
Her husband played cricket for Westcroft and she went to most of the cricket grounds, except Bletchley which was too noisy and crowded. She had lots of friends and had joined Truby’s.
She liked the roundabouts and the shopping centre and loved the green areas. She had visited the Museum, but was not interested in the story of Milton Keynes and had no thoughts about the new Gallery.
The biggest change she had seen was the difficulty in getting an NHS appointment. She expected Milton Keynes to become more crowded and house prices to go up. She thought the city should have a grammar school and an improved hospital.
A favourite memory was falling asleep watching the cricket at Campbell Park and being woken by her son asking if she had seen how many sixes he had hit.
