11/09/06 Where the Lines Meet
This was the culmination of a two years’ Local Heritage Initiative funded project carried out by project workers, volunteers and schools in the Bletchley Area. During this time members of the community were interviewed for their memories, hundreds of photographs were collected and scanned, children from two local schools, Knowles Junior and Eaton Mill Combined, also researched the railway history, interviewed several ex-workers and with funding from the Spotlight on Bletchley’s Community Chest Fund, worked on a textile banners project, two of which are now hanging in Bletchley Library...more

17/05/06 Business Excellence Awards 2006
Living Archive was one of three nominations in the Contribution to the Community Award - Voluntary Sector at the Chamber of Commerce Awards Ceremony held on 11th May. The event was held at Whittlebury Hall and attended by over four hundred local dignitories and business people. A short film was shown of each nominee and this helped to raise the profile of Living Archive at this prestigious even.
