A resource that was used extensively in the preparation of the exhibition and this website was a CD-ROM -The World Guide – An alternative reference to the countries on our planet, compiled by the Third World Institute in Montevideo, Uruguay.

It describes itself as ‘ a comprehensive resource for teaching or learning about the people of the world. It includes up to date facts and information on 217 countries, a profile of each country including its environment, history, politics, economy and social context’.
