Keach's Meeting House Winslow Open Afternoon

at Keach's Meeting House, Bell Walk, Winslow

Visitors can see inside this small Baptist chapel built in 1695 with open-backed benches, box pews, a gallery, pulpit, communion table and memorial tablets. Information will be available about the building, the life of Benjamin Keach (a Baptist preacher in the 1660s, put in the pillory for his writings) and the history of Baptists in Winslow, including some early Baptist women.

Prebooking is required. Visits are available in timed 15-minute sessions between 2pm and 5pm, maximum 4 people per session.

PLEASE PREBOOK YOUR VISIT BEFORE 6pm ON FRIDAY 18 SEPTEMBER AS WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT BOOKINGS ON THE DAY – THANK YOU. Please also note that you will also need to bring a face covering.
