Saeeda Wilson-Andoh moved to Milton Keynes in 2003 after living in Cambridge to take up a teaching position. She was born in Ghana and then lived in Malaysia as a child eventually moving to Birmingham with her father. Remembers the differences between Malaysia and Birmingham and seeing snow for the first time. She talks about being Muslim and the associated traditions and festivals such as Nikah when a baby is born and Ramadan and Eid. Brings her children up in both Muslim and Christian religions. Recalls her own family life as a child. The object special to her is a photograph of her husband and children who are very important to her.
