  • My father Leonard Clements was at Fegans in Stony from 1938 to about 1945 then went on to Goudhurst. At 92 he thinks about those days a lot and has many stories. He talks very highly about the home and good education that he received.

  • My Aunt and Uncle Frances and William Foale ran/managed Fagans in Stony Stratford but I dont know when other than between 1924 and I would say 1960. I do have photographs which I could email if you provide and email address. I would love to know more about their time there if it was possible please

  • I previously left a comment
Harold and Winnie Whitton actually run Calverton House in stoney Stratford not faegans.
Calverton house was the boys home
    Faegans was the school.
I believe than ran Calverton House for approximately 10 years in the 1940s/1950s
They also ran a green grocers called Whitton Greengrocers in stoney Stratford.
