The reverse of the photograph of the Freeman Memorial Church soon after construction (see FMC/003/001) The printed text reads: Wesleyan School Chapel, Bletchley. The opening services were conducted by the Revs. John Bond, J A Sharp, R E Bloomfield and Mr J Tearle. The erection of this building occupied a little over three months, and includes two Class-rooms, Vestry, and Kitchen, with other conveniences. Seating capacity 200 exclusive of Vestry. The building has been very creditably carried out by Mr J M Panting, at a cost of about £575, from the designs of Mr H H Dyer, Architect, &c. YMCA Buildings, Northampton.
