A Special Concert

A special concert to launch the Milton Keynes Songbook
Over the past 40 years Living Archive Milton Keynes has produced performances from large-scale documentary musical dramas to broadcast radio ballads. The archive collections have inspired over 100 songs composed by local musicians about people who have lived in the area.

To celebrate Milton Keynes’ 50th Birthday, Marion Hill and Craig McLeish have selected 36 of these songs to create the first songbook to share MK’s special heritage, and make accessible a collection of home-grown music.

To celebrate the launch of the songbook there will be a special concert on Thursday 30 November at Denbigh School.  The Living Archive Band will be performing a selection of songs with choirs from Two Mile Ash Primary School, Caroline Haslett Primary School and Denbigh School.   To get your free ticket for the concert please use the link below.
