  • I have several pictures of my Mum who was born in 1918 and her sisters who were all born in Priory Street. The house is still there. My Aunt Kit Tate was a poet and lived there too. I am trying to find graves or any information on this family. Their Mums name was Tate and she married a Brown. There is one picture of the three sisters all in fancy dress. Would have been in about 1927/30.

  • Agree with Mary it is coronation 1953. It rained all day. I recognise myself as the guardsman with the wooden horse, I was six at the time. I grew up in priory st and recognise many of the faces but I struggle to put names to them.
