This Honours Board shows some of the best tennis players, not only in Wolverton, but in the county of Buckinghamshire too. The men’s team of 1952 won the Bucks Shield and Wal Pacey won the Bucks singles title in 1952-53. In a reflection of women’s status in those days, Thelma Norman, a Woman’s champion is referred to by the initial of her husband Stan.
