Pamela Weston recalls her first visit to Milton Keynes and getting lost. She was born in Wales and left to go to university. She cannot speak Welsh so is unable to teach in Wales. She celebrates the usual traditions of birthdays and Christmas. She describes celebrating Harvest Festival and St David’s Day and the Cawl soup and Welsh cakes that they eat. She talks about the Welsh national costume and Eisteddfods. Objects special to her are a tape of a Welsh choir, Welsh salt and pepper pots, a Welsh garden gnome and a bear. She describes her passion for Welsh rugby, attending matches and collecting souvenirs and her love of Wales.
