This Scrap yard Newport Road was started by my grandparents Resvoire Edward Goodman (Resevoit was one of the Smith Romany gypsy travelers who married a householder) eventuall on their death the scrap yard was left to the boys of family Uncle Bill stayed their while my father Ted Goodman opened another yard Bradwell Road opposite New Inn 2 brothers joined him uncle George uncle Peck i am now 84 years old daughter of Ted Goodman we still have a scrap yard A Goodman in Bletchley Rosalie Osborne nee Goodman September 2023 9 cousins still alive
