Interview with Stan Cohen and Sheila Goldsmith.
Stan Cohen moved to Two Mile Ash, Milton Keynes in 1982. Sheila Goldsmith moved to Blue Bridge, MK in 1986 because of a change in her husband’s job. They talk of their different reasons for choosing MK, first impressions and living on building sites as their housing estates were being built. Both are very positive about MK, commenting that it was always a very active place with a good community spirit. Both are active members of the Reform Jewish community in MK and they discuss its development over the last 20 years, looking forward to the imminent opening of the new Synagogue; they hope that it may lead to a revival in the community. They also discuss various aspects of Jewish life such as food and festivals.
