MKR/01/005 Two press cuttings forming an article beginning: ‘Milton Keynes Rugby Club entertained Northampton Heathens and the three teams notched up 121 points between them without conceding one point’. 'Try Magic from City' MKR/01/006 Press cutting: Milton Keynes City shattered their traditional opening opponents Northampton Heathens, although Northampton were unable to field their best squads owing to internal difficulties. '13 is Not Unlucky for Red-Hot City' MKR/01/007 Press cutting: Milton Keynes continued in sizzling form by overpowering Tring and only conceding 13 points in total. 'Seven in a Row ' MKR/01/008 Press cutting: Seven games without defeat is a record for Milton Keynes Rugby Club, bringing season’s points to 177 with only 13 against. 'Touchdown! Wolves come down to earth.' and 'Winning Sequence Ends'. MKR/01/009 Two press articles and a photo: Milton Keynes City lost all four matches losing to Tamworth 31-11. (One report shown here.) 'Weakened City Slip' MKR/01/010 Press article: Milton Keynes City were unable to provide a strong team with 8 members crying off for various reasons in the matches against Tamworth, resulting in an end to their good run. The Crawley Colts Tournament MKR/01/011 A copy of the Crawley Rugby Football Club Colts Tournament programme for the Jack Bowthorpe Memorial Trophy in September 1980, in which MK RUFC competed. 'Rugby Roundup' MKR/01/016 MK Rugby Club had a successful weekend winning all 4 fixtures, against Stevenage and the Open University. 'MK Revival goes on' MKR/01/017 MK 22pts, Stevenage 4. MK City revival continues despite wedding of Mike Egerton A further report of results against Stevenage and the Open University MKR/01/018 MK Rugby Club having a successful season so far with five wins in six games, but losing to powerful Tamworth.
