The message reads “Dear (B&S?) just a line to let you know that I have (?) home again glad to come over he employed himself thanks for what you sent hope you havent robbed yourself of onions I hadn’t got any so they come in (?) thanks for cards you sent while I was (out?)(?) they cheered me up on my journey (?) glad (let?) is getting on so well better than thought she would (hung?) is the 2nd just (?) shall write again as soon as I get a bit straight hope you are all well with love to all E”. The card is franked NORTHAMPTON 10.15pm NO 20 06.
