Coloured illustrated postcard showing a country lane. There is a church steeple and a cottage in the distance and a thatched cottage on the left hand side. It appears to be dusk. A young girl and boy stand with a dog and look into a Blacksmiths shop. The blacksmith is shoeing a white horse. A wheel leans against the shop under some trees. The card is addressed to Mrs E Pittam Castlethorpe Stony Stratford Bucks. The message reads “Dear Sis I have just had a PC from Dora. I am so looking forward to seeing you up here on Wensday. be sure you come wont you A says she thinks you will be in Richmond about dinner time but I am afraid I cant ask you (?) dinner as my old girl is so (?) (?) but you can come up here any time after two o clock I will have a good tea for you if you ca wait until then let D see this wont love from Ursie “
