Coloured and illustrated advertising postcard showing a mailcoach drawn by three chestnut and one white horse. The coach driver in a brown jacket and white top hat holds a whip. A green jacketed man stands at the back of the coach. Both men appear to be saluting a young couple who are passing them in a smaller cart drawn by a donkey. The card is addressed to P Colquhoun Esq 10 Chislehurst Rd. Richmond. The printed advertising material reads “International Horse Show Olympia, June 19 – July 1.1913. MANFIELDS BOOTS STANDS no 3-4. Manfield & Sons have your size registered at Branch below and will be glad of a call to inspect their large stock of new Seasons Boots and Shoes, or General Catalogue will be sent on request”. A purple stamp reads “MANFIELD & SONS 84, GRACECHURCH STREET LONDON EC”. The card is franked 14 JU 13 15.
