An illustrated A5 size booklet of recipes using New Zealand (NZ) cheese, with a Foreword promoting the use of cheese for meals. The Foreword ends: All the recipes in this book have been specially created and tested by Mrs D.D. Cottingham Taylor, Director, Good Housekeeping Institute, London.
The booklet is divided into three sections: Savoury Snacks, Main Meals and Supper Savouries.
The back and front cover are illustrated in full colour, as are four further pages; there are greyscale illustrations on every recipe page. The inside front and back cover promote New Zealand Cheese. An inserted Special Note at the front of the booklet notes that the booklet was produced before World War II and the quantities in the recipes are ‘unsuitable to present day conditions’. i.e. rationing.
